Just got a 7" Ceramic Knife. (Zirconium Oxide). Have been trying to find a sharpener for this knife. Everything I've looked at shows pictures of a Steel knife being used, or else the sharpener mentions "Coarse, fine, honing. I've read I need a diamond sharpener for Ceramic, but unless I spend over $50 I can't find one cheap enough.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

one of the touted benefits to ceramic blades . . . they never need sharpening . . .
(reality: within reason)

but, if you think you need to sharpen/hone a ceramic blade, you will need a diamond stone / diamond hone.
there are no other options. the stone/hone must be harder than the blade.
softer materials simply work to dull the ceramic blade.

an online search for "diamond stone" or "diamond hone" is your best option for finding a decent product in your area.
