To celebrate Lunar New Year, NT and I had a fusion style dinner - Hoisin Haggis Tortilla wraps!

Very simple. While the haggis cooked, I finely shredded spring onions, carrot and yellow pepper, and savoy cabbage. The cabbage was stirfried with a little salt and sugar. I intended it to be crispy, but I think the heat wasn't quite high enough, so it was softened instead. The other veg were served raw.

The hoisin sauce was from a sachet (Blue Dragon brand) and the tortillas were from a packet.

Spread some hoisin on a wrap, load it up with haggis and veg, roll up, and enjoy! Quite a good combo!

McFusion indeed - definitely a different combination.

Separately I like them all (although my one any only experience with Haggis was from a chip shop in Loch Lomond when a bunch of us lads went to see Oasis in concert many years ago) but I imagine the Haggis and hoisin sauce made a strange flavour marriage?

Well no, it worked very well! Haggis is only minced meat after all, with only basic seasoning, so there was nothing to clash.

Really, it worked fine!
