Mrs. GH and I have two sets of measuring spoons in the drawer. I use the set on a ring, and she uses the magnetic set that comes apart into individual spoons. I like spoons to be on a ring, since if I have one, I have them all and they won't become scattered, nor can I misplace them. Mrs. GH doesn't like juggling them on a ring and prefers to be able to separate each one, even if that inevitably means that some wind up in the sink, some on the counter, and perhaps still another will be left in the drawer. This critical marital difference is what happens when you marry someone at the opposite corner of the Meyers-Briggs personality spectrum. 🤣

So what say ye CB members prefer?

I have both. Its something that has bothered me for a while. If they are on a ring then you eiither have to detach the spoon to wash it or put the whole caboodle in the dishwasher. And what if you need both wet and dry ingredients of various spoon sizes? Very awkward and messy if they are all on a ring.

Mine are on a ring, almost exactly like yours. That way they don't get lost in the kitchen drawers. I cook loads of Indian food, which involves spices, and I frequently get things like "3 tsps (1 Tbsp) coriander; 1 tsp cumin; ½ tsp cardamom powder; 2 tsps cinnamon" etc. So much easier to have the measures all in the same place.

For years I used nothing, my kids laughed at me for not having measuring cups. So they went out and bought some.
I just have the ring now. But if not, I use actual teaspoon, and tablespoon, and of course just a regular cup.
