Meat Free Monday Error

I like that. Wasnt there an episode of the Royal family, where the brother's girlfriend was vegetarian and the grandmother said "can she have wafer thin ham Barbara? "

Fraid I haven't watched it, so don't know but I have spent my life hearing people say to me, but it's only chicken, it doesn't count does it? :mad:

I know in this day and age, when I go to restaurants out of town and I ask what is vegetarian I get told the fish and chicken dishes. I then say I am a real vegetarian as opposed to one who doesn't eat meat. I find it more in the US when servers ask if I am a vegetarian that eats fish and I say ,'No animals at all!'

Some people don't understand why chicken broth in soup isn't okay either, because they say I'm not eating the chicken!
