The curious thing is that the term and concept of 'meatball sub' doesn't exist in the UK.

Having been on this forum a while a do have an idea of what it is. What I don't know is what Italian dressing means.

It's like seasoned oil and water vinaigrette. Here's a cheap one the GG's like.

Lots of interesting additives in that including MSG! But its low calorie.

OK. If I had a meatball sub I'd want a good grating of Parmesan.

Sub rolls with a little of the inside bread pulled out, brushed with garlic oil, then toasted, provolone slices, meatballs, marinara, fresh moz on top, then in the oven to melt cheese.
