Mayonaise (or however you spell it) has only one place - on salads and mixed with egg or potato to generate egg and potato salads, well coleslaw as well I suppose; okay okay three places. It doesn't belong on hamburgers, cheese sangers, hot dogs, cool cats or any other foreign matter that may or may not enter ones mouth. Everyone knows you use Miracle Whip for that :p::thankyou::D

I use shredded mild chedder cheese when I make it. Start slowly heating the soup/milk until it is hot and then slow mix in the cheese and stop just before it gets gooey :)

Seriously, I have never had an issue with it and I use it for all manner of things, tuna salad, pasta salad, egg salad and the list goes on. I see nothing wrong with it.
To me, it tastes like liquid sugar. It's too overwhelming for my palette.

Theres only one thing I think miracle whips useful for and thats frozen sandwiches, it doesn't split like mayo does.
But it’s an extremely overpriced specialist shop product here and at £10-15 a jar I have no interest!
Holly you know what - that is rediculously priced so I don't blame you for not wanting it!

Here Mayo and MW are about the same price ... on average $5:00 per jar, depending on the size of the jar of course. I think that works out around 3.75 BP.

I used to like Miracle Whip when I was a kid, but I grew out of it. The only way I could see myself using it (maybe) would be while making some sort of "salad" like macaroni salad or potato salad, and only using a small amount for a touch of sweetness. But logically speaking, I could also accomplish the same thing by using just a bit of sugar, or another form of "sweet". When I make my current goto pasta salad, I use sweet pickle juice for the sweetness factor. With how excellent it works and how much it contributes to the overall flavor profile, I could never substitute Miracle Whip instead. That would be a step backwards for me.

I don’t have a sweet tooth so it’s not for me anyway.
I used it once to make a pile of frozen sandwich’s for my boys to grab when they were doing their finals and on their way out of the door running late.
They loved the sandwiches in general but the miracle whip ones were not the most loved sarnies. That sausage, bacon and egg baps won that round!

I don't think I have ever seen or tasted this miracle whip...
And by the sounds of it: I haven't missed much ;)
You may have come across it- salad cream in the UK and elsewhere - same same I think 😎

Interesting back story

Heinz salad cream the UK version but not sure if it's exactly the same as Miracle Whip but same idea

I have a feeling Marzetti's is the American version of salad cream. We have some brand of salad cream in our grocery that I wanted to try, but I keep forgetting to buy it.
