Miracle Whip v. mayonnaise and salad cream

You may have come across it- salad cream in the UK and elsewhere - same same I think 😎

Interesting back story

Heinz salad cream the UK version but not sure if it's exactly the same as Miracle Whip but same idea
I don't think I have ever seen or tasted this miracle whip...
And by the sounds of it: I haven't missed much ;)

I have a feeling Marzetti's is the American version of salad cream. We have some brand of salad cream in our grocery that I wanted to try, but I keep forgetting to buy it.

I used to like Miracle Whip when I was a kid, but I grew out of it. The only way I could see myself using it (maybe) would be while making some sort of "salad" like macaroni salad or potato salad, and only using a small amount for a touch of sweetness. But logically speaking, I could also accomplish the same thing by using just a bit of sugar, or another form of "sweet". When I make my current goto pasta salad, I use sweet pickle juice for the sweetness factor. With how excellent it works and how much it contributes to the overall flavor profile, I could never substitute Miracle Whip instead. That would be a step backwards for me.
It's not so much that it's sweet, it just has an off taste. And I am not fond of any sweetness with meats on my sandwiches. Forget about devilled eggs, that's not happening!
