I was reading this thread and decided to post my waffle(back several ) favorite.... I make a fresh blueberry mix not skimping on the butter, and use that in my waffle iron.... oh my goodness its the best and no added syrup needed unless.... you happen to like super sweet. If one wants to use syrup.... get this folks since I live in the middle of nowhere, I tap trees for the syrup making qualities, there are more than maple trees to tap.
2C flour
3/4 C sugar
pinch of salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 stick of butter melted( I know)
aprox 1/3 c of butter milk
then add your fav milk, almond, coconut, dairy, to make either a muffin/cake texture or
pancake/waffle texture(more liquid) add blueberries
mix by folding
Me baking is rare, creates to many dishes to clean and I cannot stand doing dishes.
