When I pop into the produce store I generally have some specific items that I intend to buy. If the fruit looks good, I may add to my shopping list.
There are a whole bunch of items that the produce shop carries that I am unfamiliar with. I would like to try them out but I don't know what they are or how they should be prepared. Unfortunately it is difficult to ask questions of the grocer as English is a stretch.
Do you ever see something a little different and want to give it a try? How do you learn how the produce is meant to be prepared?
