Interesting. It seems that it is to make a permanent link to the start of the thread. We already have the ability to get a link to a specific post within a thread by clicking on the post's number and then copying and pasting the weblink.

And it seems to be only that post that has the 'issue'.

But when I click it, it doesn't go to the first post. It goes to the next post down.

the weblink at the top changes to the first post of the thread, so you can copy that to give the start of the thread as the first post - I should probably have been clearer.

That time looks great. So we're definitely all on the same countdown now
