Those tasted soooooooo much like the "OG" Leonard's Bakery in Hawaii!
This recipe makes 24 (+1) donuts, so maybe next go-around I'll do a half batch.
I shared a half dozen each with three of my Neighborhood Gal Pal's homes.
They'd never had Malasadas before and loved them.
I hand delivered each batch fresh and still piping hot in brown paper bags, that's how we use to get them back in the day.
With each hand-delivery I said, "please eat these while they're still warm, they taste better that way" and scurried back home to make the next batch.
