Pate Question.

I'm going to be making pate for the first time. Which is better? First process the livers and meat then cook or cooking first and then blending in a food processor? If you guys have any good recipes, I would love to see them :).

This is really weird. I was in the other room thinking about making pate for the first time and then when I came back in I saw your post! As far as I know, you need to cook the livers before processing, but I am basing this information from what I have seen on the TV, not from personal knowledge. I will keep an eye on this thread because I was going to ask for recipes on here too. I hate processed pate bought in tubs, but love the fresh stuff.
