Plans for today (2025)

It's been 7 weeks tonight. It was a severe sprain, grade 3, and it was more than just his ankle as he tore tendons and really wrenched the whole foot (and the knee on his other leg, and his lower back, his neck, his head). I was worried about him having a concussion but he refused to go to the doctor, so...
That's a long time to put up with soreness, for you and him!

Plans for today:
Go to my grandparents grave and put flowers, trim up their headstone, make it look tidy.
Obviously my cousins are not taking care of things 🤷‍♀️

Im the only one that goes to my mums. It's quite good because my Nana and granddad and great grandparents are all there as well. I remember my great grandparents as plain as day.
We do wife's parents after mine.

Yeah, it's been a rough go. And tomorrow is the 1 year anniversary of his mom's passing, then our friend in Florida passed away (service was yesterday), so just a lot of sore hearts to go with everything else.

You know you can plant those seeds eh?

Russ
Maybe, but I can buy cilantro seeds for a lot less. I don't have much luck growing it, though. We don't get strong enough sun because of all the trees and it gets spindly. The garden plot gets less light every year because of the tree branches everywhere.

We're going to going to DH's parents graves next week, again, I don't think anyone is keeping them up. When we go I bring a pair of sturdy shears and trim it all up and leave flowers. I was not fortunate enough to meet them before they passed... DH & I didn't not connect until much later in life.
