We haven't had a drup since May....Moved to Saturday since it's nonstop raining...
And probably won't have till November

I've lit a fire
Having a nice drink, getting nice and warm feet
Food is halfway done. Steak mince (boring stuff, far too lean) fried in left over oil from aubergine a la nonna with added onions and my very hot salsa sauce.
Just gotta reheat with blitzed tomatoes.
With freshly baked sourdoug bread/rolls
We are in for it this coming weekend and the beginning of next week. My poor sister in Texas has been suffering through the heat for over a month already and it's just going to get worse. Today isn't too bad here, really.Main task for today is keeping cool. Ghastly hot weather here. I know many of you have weather like this as a norm but I can't deal with it at all. Managed to find a fan upstairs and get it going down here. Its noisy but better than nothing - subtitles on the TV.
Right there with you plus some degrees. Have to have central AC.Main task for today is keeping cool. Ghastly hot weather here. No expiring allowed, you'll just have to stay in the air conditioning. Peak summer temps are around 105F/40.5C.In comparison, you would think it quite cool here (28C or 82.5F maximum today). I would probably actually expire in your temperatures.
We have a public holiday here as well.Fed/bank holiday today (Juneteenth), so taking a lazy drive up to some farmers/Amish markets
we like.
I’ll thank either side responsible for another day off - I can definitely “reach across the aisle*” for that!We have a public holiday hete as well.
anoth day snuck in by the labour gooberment.
We’ll be with you in spirit in the coming days…mid-to-high 90s (low 30s for you) with crushing humidity to boot. Heat indexes are predicted to easily pass triple digits for us…and it’s only June! We don’t usually see this stuff until August.Main task for today is keeping cool.

*Do they use that phrase there to denote bipartisanship?
