Well my husband got a bit drunk which makes him difficult to communicate with. The chicken came out beautifully but was done before the ribs were, so I covered it and let it rest while the ribs were finishing. When we were ready to eat, I took the leg/thigh sections and put them on a foil lined tray in the oven on low broil for the skin to crisp up. Worked out great.

Edited to add I'll probably make a smoked chicken salad with the rest of that chicken. Need to buy some celery tomorrow.

Happy to hear you succeeded!

I'm just having my first (and only) cup of coffee of the morning.
Not intending to move much till it gets a bit warmer. It was 6 oC when I got up.

Planning to brew another batch of beer, so I can pour that onto the left over yeast of the one that needs to go into bottles or a keg.

Lots of other small things to do, mainly due to waisting hours yesterday to pay into the pension fund with systems that don't work. So didn't manage as their system was down and now I'm too late and will have to pay a fine.
There was quite a bit of cursing going on yesterday
 
Tying up loose ends at work before we’re gone for a week. I’ve actually got to knock kff a little early in order to drive about 40 minutes to hand off my mom’s death certificates and some other paperwork to my brother.

I gave the cooler a test run - it went from 71F to 37F in about 15 minutes. I downloaded the app, so I was able to name the cooler, and keeping with the German theme, its been christened Gurkenkühler (I think that’s easy enough to translate).
 
I have a car wash mystery shop to do in a couple of hours. Just drinking some tea and doing some online banking at the moment. I'll vacuum when I come home and start some sprouts in my sprouting jar. That's all I have planned. Dinner is leftover ribs I think.

I get paid to evaluate certain businesses. I choose to do restaurants sometimes. Today I get a full detailed carwash paid for plus a fee. They will clean my car, tires, polish and wax the exterior, vacuum the interior, wash the interior dashboard and windows and I get reimbursed for that cost plus payment for writing a report on the service. They call it "mystery shopping" because I don't tell them what I am doing and portray a regular customer, hence the mystery!
