Plans for today (2025)

It makes sense in the food related threads, but I highly doubt anyone is going to be searching that JAS gained 4 pounds or that herbaceous has a doctor who thinks she feeds her husband too much.

I couldn’t help but think if someone arrived at ‘Plans for today’ seriously wanting to know about my plans for today it would be a bit stalkerie and freak me out

I never ever go shopping at the weekend. This is the first time in decades!

I feel lousy. I think it may be a side effect from the flu shot. I was supposed to go food shopping. DD said she would run in and get a couple things on sale that ends today. Finish shopping tomorrow. I see soup for the next several days. It’s cool but beautiful day.
I really want to go for a ride to leaf peep.

Also quite unbelievably it wasn’t too busy inside and the staff were cheery and I had a lovely time with my boys.
Even got some nice dinky sauce pourers for the sushi.

I’ve already blanked out the experience. It’ll have to wait until I get home and unpack.

I’ll say this, though…grand opening weekend and they weren’t fully stocked, so it was sort of pointless. Booze section hadn’t been stocked at all yet.

Funny thing, though…one of the checkout women from my local Aldi who likes to give me a little wink and a giggle now and again…she was working the new Aldi, and when she saw me, she quick abandoned her station to come give me a little hug. Knowing how Aldi cashiers are held to an impossibly high standard of speed at the checkout, I was rather honored!

I have stuff for Chicken soup, lentil soup, and split pea. Not sure how many I will make. I usually make beef barley soup on Halloween.
