Plans for today (2025)

Fixing the kitchen chairs. Paid a carpenter £60 a chair not that long ago to get the legs fixed and within 6 months the legs are falling apart again.
I wasn't impressed with the fix and the time and knew it wouldn't last so after him stating they'd last a lifetime he agreed to have them back if they came apart.
I took the first two to break back, he redid them (cheekily asking for £20 a chair) and they're also broken again now.
Tried other tradesmen but no-one's interested in fixing chairs.

So it's time to take matters into my own hands. I would have done it before but it's tough on the hands and my thumbs aren’t great so wish me luck!

Not on my plans for today list, but processed my coriander/cilantro.
Cleaned, rough chop, food processor...
Then into a big bowl, a little vinegar and very little salt and then the stick blender to make it finer than my foodprocessor can. In ice cubes trays and now it's in the freezer
And of course, I forgot to keep some behind for tonight

Is that the solar pump you were figuring how to make theft proof awhile back?
 
I'm off to buy some big black plastic bags because I've got TWO gardeners here today and they're going to de-jungle-ize my garden.
Watch this space for stray, pythons, rodents, scorpions and lethal stick insects...
I'm then going to make some Chettinad garlic pickle, because a whole kilo of peeled garlic in the fridge is stinking the place out.
