Hey my husband just was reading that 21 people died from tornadoes and that London, KY got hit quite hard. It's a terrible thing to say we are fortunate by comparing our circumstances to others, but it's really true. It could have been so much worse.

Yeah, right up until the storm got to the county just west of ours (Warren), they were still saying to be on the lookout for tornadoes, but then it never quite formed up, but the straight-line winds picked up to compensate. It was incredibly noisy for about 10 minutes, rattling the siding and the windows.
It's going to be Indian cuisine. No sausages there, thank goodness!

It looks like a small twister hit the backyard but I think it was just the strong winds. But it's weird how some of the trees lost no branches while the elm tree had all of them snapped off, and a few trees near it lost a few branches as well. Our son is coming over to clear the branches off the decks in a few.
We had a lightbulb shatter and my wife vacuumed it up but me being barefoot 24/7 I'm very aware of cutting my foot. I saw shards for weeks despite constant vacuuming. I still sidestep that area today.
Yeah, it stinks for sure. I'd say lightbulb glass is a lot more dangerous since it is so thin and sharp and it can shatter in such small pieces.
I never wear mine out of the house. They are cushy house shoes to me that are easy to clean if I spill something on them. I love the cushion they provide when I am cooking, as we have hard tile throughout the house and if I am on my feet for a few hours in the kitchen and go barefoot, my feet ache.
We have carpet in the bedrooms and that's it. Your vinyl in the kitchen is probably a lot softer on the feet than my tile.
Well you are blessed she isn't in the kitchen getting in your way when you are trying to cook like my S/O likes to do!
