I pruned the basil plant yesterday and now have ½ kilo of fresh basil. I'm going to make pesto.

I'd like to go walk in the park but the trails are still too muddy. And it's chilly here too, and windy both today and tomorrow. Instead I will find something to do around here, I have several projects that need completing but I have been procrastinating, LOL.Light work day (hopefully), into town later for a meds pickup and some grocery items. I’ll also fit in a couple of walks today - cold and bright outside right now.
It was a lack of heat yesterday and today. we've been hit by an Antarctic cold front and this morning's temperature was 1.8C. Bed was the warmest place
I've done a lot of that over the past year. It is nice to regain some space for new bits and pieces thoI am cleaning out one of my cabinets. It's hard to part with some stuff, not knowing if I will ever need it again. I bought myself some new cupcake/muffin silicone molds and getting rid of my old tins. Lots of memories making cupcakes for the kids over the years, they are old and nothing fancy, scratches and a couple of dents, but still...

I had planned to work on a largish cupboard & drawer unit (flat pack), but slept bad and really didn't feel like it ... maybe in the next 2-4 days
Is that a plan???I know how that feels.
I've got a lot of sorting and reorganizing to do all over my house but much of it won't get done until late April perhaps...baby steps.
It's still a plan, just on my time!
When I worked at CBRE we had to have our whole week mapped out. Worked out well once we "trained" the store managers and staff that we mandated work orders and not the other way around. It's still a plan, just on my time!
I used to live an overly-structured life when I owned my florist shop...I never slept and was always stressed out. I eventually sold that business and went to massage therapy school. I opened my own business and was self-employed again, but way less stressed...but still had to live by plans and appointments. Now I'm a semi-retired independent contractor and only take what work I want to and when. Now that is super flexible and most of the time it's easy to reschedule as long as projects aren't near deadlines. I'm pretty busy starting Friday on 2 big work projects but my hours are still very flexible, thankfully. When I worked at CBRE we had to have our whole week mapped out.
