Plans for today (2025)

As soon as I got up this morning, DH says, "You're going to be pissed..."

He spilled an entire cup of coffee, with loads of cream & sugar in it, down the side of the "Coffee Station", situated next to the range in the kitchen.
Well, I had been meaning to pull the range out and clean around it, so now I have to!

DH: Oh, couldn't we leave that until tomorrow, I know you had other plans for today
Moi: Well, those plans will need to wait. Cream can get nasty smelling very quickly

So out it came and I got all of my equipment ready

That was quite satisfying actually.
Now, on to the refrigerator!

About 30 years ago, the big "thing"in business was 100% quality. Everything had to be perfect. I can still remember some spectacled little nerd berating us about "what if only 99% of babies ever got delivered? There'd be millions who didn't !!"
But there's one thing that did stick in my mind. "Do it right the first time, because when are you going to find time to do it over again? "
Very true. very, very true.

Nothing like a healthy dose of procrastination, however.

Electrician here 9am this morning (hopefully) then ride up to the boys place with Mr SSOAP (I’ll clean and he’ll cook!) then over to the Oriental supermarket for dim sum in the restaurant and pick up some star anise (TR’s spiders ) and then back home to chill.

Excited. Haven’t had a chance to waste a day for a long time!

Spending most of the day in a virtual expo dedicated to my profession. It’s free, and I need the professional development hours to maintain my credential.

It’s been less than an hour and I am already SO SICK of the buzzwords and jargon being thrown around. Can people just talk like humans, please?

Not much at this point. This morning I got a weeks worth of water, groceries are done, everything is clean, and I've managed a meal already. I've a couple pieces of Angus top sirloin so maybe a low and slow beef barley vegetable soup. I've had beef three days in a row which is probably three times more than all of last year...

Cleaning lady and the gardener came, so I'm just going to do next to nothing today, and have a nice clean house & garden for the effort.

I am going to look over the work guidelines for the project I am starting tomorrow. Later I am getting paid to pick up and take photos of pizzas from 2 nearby chain restaurants.
