Plans for today (2025)

Finished the rest of the samosas. 100 in all. Made a wonderfully spicy sauce for some prawns. Made 8 Naan breads for a client, and then rustled up some meatballs and rice for home.
My plan for the next hour is to drink some beer.

Go nowhere! Tired of traffic, Walmart, and shelves out of stock. I'm going to stay home and go through the Groomer Girls leftovers. Ozzie might have an early Thanksgiving...

Spicy sauce for prawns? Interesting

Karaikudi eral masala (which means prawn curry from Karaikuda!) .I'll post it later on . It's yummy and (of course) spicy hot - but it can be prepared fairly mild if wanted.
The client said he wanted 4 dishes that were really hot , and he got them. Chicken Mangalore, lamb Kohlapuri, an authentic (I think) vindaloo from Goa and this prawn dish from Tamil Nadu.

Heading over to MrsT’s nephew’s house for breakfast (quiche…not a favorite, but I’ll eat it), then I’m on the hook to make three cheese balls for tomorrow, as well as some glaze for my pound cake.

I’m disappointed to say, my orange peel wine was not a hit yesterday, so now I’m forced to reevaluate my relationship with about a dozen people on that side of the family.

Up at the butt crack of dawn, the Sun's not even up yet!
Drink ALOT of coffee to wake up
Drive DH to his dentist appointment
Hang around for three hours OR going shopping, hmmmm
Go to lunch at our favorite pizza joint about an hour away
Come home and take a nap!

The dog groomers coming and mostly I’m internet shopping in the Black Friday sales for my imaginary place in the Isle of Man

It’s going quite well. 4 Coverless Duvets 30% off, 8 good quality bath sheets 50% off and some Gochugaru chilli flakes (which I was buying anyway) 30% off.

My spreadsheet is keeping me well on track, I’m enjoying holding out until I see a significant discount on the items on my list.
I’m currently holding out on buying the cutlery until after Christmas because that’s the sort of thing everyone buys before Christmas and I’m hoping they join in on the January sales instead

So far I’ve saved more than I’ve spent, by my reckoning if I carry on like this next year I’ll be a millionaire

Going nowhere today. My kids will pick up the pies locally. Tomorrow is a big cook day, I’m looking forward to see if I can cook all the vegetables I bought yesterday and many days before, and also the turkey and ham. All this cooking for only 5 people, haha.

I did all the week's hard work on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. 4 hot, spicy curries (6 portions apiece) for a client, who will get delivery tomorrow. 120 samosas, made from scratch - delivered today (and 20 tomorrow). Meatballs, tzatziki, bean dip, pita bread for home.
This afternoon, I'm going to make a hot honey sauce.

We made that same decision when my mil passed..my wife was executor.
5 of her 7 bros ringing night after night..where's our money. Cut them off after the payout.
