Plans for today (2025)

Friday:
Up at the butt crack of dawn, yet again, to get myself presentable
Neighborhood Gal Pal is picking me for Brunch at a new-ish restaurant three towns up from us
Hopefully, be able find myself a Quart sized Mason jar for my homemade Limoncello
Make the Limoncello to set aside for a month to marinade (is that the term?)
Do some Black Friday shopping online (need new bedsheets and women's intimates)

I think the term is marinate. I found my Kahlua I made last year that's been aging in a cool dark spot. Kind of like marinating...

Meeting friend for lunch.

Have some plans for an experimental kitchen this weekend which include a watermelon sashimi recipe I saw on the Morrison's website and an overnight cooked version of a Full English breakfast which looks.. interesting 😬🤣
 
Nothing much - we have a major winter storm predicted between where we are and where we’re going to get back home, so we’re trying to figure out the best time to leave for home to avoid the brunt of it.

The one time my “I refuse to bring my work laptop on vacation” policy is biting me…if I had, we’d just stay a couple extra days and I’d just work from here.

Myself, I don't drink any Kahlua, but one of my Neighborhood Gal Pals loves the stuff.
Would you say that it's better than the commercial brand?
