I planned on cleaning out some of our cupboards and getting rid of stuff that we had bought wanting at the time then forgot about. That was shot to hell as I slept half the day after being at the local ER half the night with my wife

Is everything ok with your wife now?

Thanks guys - well, yes and no. She has some weird named thing that is basically an inflamation around the ribs which causes her pain. More often than not it is managable but every now and then, like last night, it is severe. We spent four hours or so at the ER while they had her on intravenous pain killers and ran a million other tests etc.

Unfortunately it is something she has and has to live with. Fortunately it is something that comes and goes and isn't a constant issue; but it is worrying when it strikes..

Today is the last nice day before the big storm, atmospheric river is coming, so glad I got my shopping done.

I heard we in the NE were in for a storm - probably the reminants of what you might get maybe... all I know is that I am sick of winter already and were not half way through it yet ---- are we?

It’s already raining in the Bay area, this is why produce are more expensive than normal.
The weather man just said we will have wind gust, whatever that means, I’m not looking forward to this bad weather.

Tie everythign down ....... around here we get wind gusts up to 50 MPH. They're short lived but can cause damage, downed trees, power lines (never understood why the US does have underground power) and so forth.

My city has underground power lines, but I must tie my umbrella and my fruit trees will suffer.
