Plans for today (2025)

It's warm to the point of almost breaking records, so I should bring my remaining three mulch piles down to the main garden pile and remove the pulled tomato plants. The tomato plants will harbor next year's pests; should burn those or dump them in the creek, which isn't a creek yet...

Wouldn't hurt to make more yogurt.

I’m off work from now until the new year. So I’m planning to do a lot of relaxing/doing what I want, but also trying to get some of the messier areas of my house tidied up a bit.

Currently trying to muster up the strength to peel myself off the couch and go grocery shopping…
 
Planning to bake a cheesecake and an apple crumble. But that may change if joint pain in fingers doesn't let up.
 
Yoghurt is on, went on yesterday.
Set some straining
Prep there fruit for the pavlova
Need to cook both sets of soaked chickpeas
Need to cook the almond feta cheese
Need to prep the dressing for the chickpea salad
Need to prepare the other chickpea recipe and write that one up
Carry on with some behind the scenes stuff on CB
Clean the table for tomorrow
Clean the incubator out now there chicks have hatched and put it away
Write some cards
Find a replacement card for my mother who's in tears because the card we sent her hasn't arrived...
See if i can edit a photo for my sister

My husband is the talent gift wrapper here, I suck at it.
Today we got our quails and duck legs, this is it, I’m going to relax tomorrow. My kids will make minced pies.
 
We’re starting the yogurt making process, my husband says he would help, but left to burn some CDs upstairs, I’m too impatient, sometime i go do something else and the milk burns.
Ok, we got to 180F, now my husband can go away.
