I removed the fat and french half of the lamb like Curtis above, I decided just to French one leg of lamb, the other one I’m going to eat au naturel, what the heck, it’s a very time consuming process, last year I don’t recall we French the rack of lamb either. Lots of tasty bits were removed for no reason. We are not high end restaurant, I need to remind myself, resting for the moment before I finish the other half.
You've seen me; I eat -all- of it. 😁

Going to make some tapenade for the party tonight, and I'll take a bag full of pakoras I made last week, along with some tamarind chutney. Then all we'll be missing is a bottle of prosecco or two.
I'm also going to make some sweet chile jelly today
Week old pakoras!!! The horror! 🤤

I’m wondering if I can cut out the little bits of lamb and use it in the stew late, I personally don’t want to waste anuthing, but I also dont want a lot of fat either. I wonder if I can use the fat to roast potatoes?
I would render the fat first but you've expressed being a not a lot of effort cook so that might not work for you. 🤔

Resting for an hour or two before I do pana cotta and poached pears in red wine sauce and that’s it for me.
After that gift wrapping and in the evening we’re going play Scrabble.
