Plans for today (2026)

I did the grafting for the Asian pears, one I graft to European pear, and one I grafted to a Asian pear.
Then I grafted my best Adriatic fig cuttings to an old Dessert King. Later I need to saw the top half.

The gun show was a hit today. I went in hoping to buy one of the newly released Gen 6 Glock 19s, but the only vendor who had them wanted too much. If I'm just a little patient, the local gun stores will have them much cheaper when they start arriving soon. Despite not getting my new Glock, I scored a post-war Russian M44 Mosin Nagant in fantastic condition to add to my milsurp collection (and for a deal!), some hard to find Okay 20-rnd AR mags, a couple of 5-rnd AK mags for shooting off the bench, and an AR bayonet. We all went out for a light lunch afterwards and I'm a happy camper. It was a good day. 👍
 
Tonight I tried to print all of my tax forms, everything was ok but my small annuity. I can figure out another way but I’m curious why they don't respond to me. Monday is not soon enough.
 
I build my worm hotel yesterday :)
Today is checking up on the garden, calculate salaries and decide on the lay out of my irrigation system.
And I need to freeze my tomato sauce. Still got some tomatoes left to process.
And I want to get my fridge going again, but I need to wait and see if I have enough sunshine.
Maybe defrost my freezer.
It's starting to sound like a busy day, so I'll better chill and have some more coffee :)
