Plans for today (2026)

Isn't it online?
I went searching for it and found the T20 games on a thing called Willow ... Frankly, that isn't real cricket though - all that advertising on shirts ans caps - I prefer the ODI and Test matches but at least I know where I can now watch them :)

Oh, I watched the T20 matches I'm just pld fashioned and prefer the NON Commercialised versions of the game :) Nothing better than the whites and the baggy green, or applicable country cap. When the ODI began I thought the uniforms for that were a little over board as well BUT kind of got used to them :)

I went up and playing with my taxes again, just want to make sure I enter the details. Apparently after clicking a few things, I now owe some taxes, not good news to my husband. So I redid the tax planning for this year. So glad I didn’t make any jump on anything.
So off to work I go, Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho.
Tomorrow I need to call and ask for the correct annuity statement, so far I tried every single day, but they are too busy.

Go play today and maybe sign up for gym membership.
This week I’m thinking of getting back to my normal schedule last year, that means show up to my art class for the first time in 6 months.

Grocery shopping today, I think on me own for the first time since surgery. I’m still under a no lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk restriction, so MrsT’s favored packs of bottled water will have to wait.

She’s also doing poorly, BTW. She has a herniated (or bulging) disk, and she’s having sciatica problems, and she pulled some muscles in her back. She’s on a round of prednisone and muscle relaxers right now, so neither one of us can lift anything heavier than our spirits, I suppose.
Hope you both heal well? Hard to lift when you can't.

I attended The Great American Outdoor Show after work today. It's billed as "The World's Largest Outdoor Show", and is a nearly 1,000,000 sq-ft venue that is filled with outdoor hunting, fishing, archery, and shooting vendors, and outdoor hunting guides from around the world. It brings in ~200,000 attendees each year. There, you can take in hunting and fishing seminars and do everything from buying the latest fishing rod to booking a dangerous game hunt in Africa. I made one pass through just the shooting hall alone and decided to leave after spending way more than I'd planned. You can easily spend a full day or two walking around to see all of the vendors and exhibits, and some people book a hotel and make an extended weekend of it. I've been going on and off since I was young teenager. It's a great event! 👍
