Plans for today (2026)

So wife decided it's sauce time
We bought 2 buckets about 3.7 kg per bucket. 7kgs tomatoes 2 kg apples 12 large onions 1 liters malt vinegar 2 kg sugar allspice and cloves s and p.

Today us filling up wasjhing tubs with top soil and seed some cucumbers, to see if that goes better tha in the soil-soil.
Got 3 tubs, so 2 to decide upon.
Check on my worms, so far so good, although they are not very hungry yet. Maybe they got a bit much straw and carton to start if with?
Some odd jobs to do as well and I need to decide on what to eat. Maybe pizza, but then I need to start making dough now, maybe a pie with lots on onions and ground beef. Or do I want satay?
Or something with dried mushrooms?
 
Today I was going to have another marathon chutney session across town.
Phone call last night to say "don't come, we haven't got any running water":hyper::hyper: That's a fairly common issue over here in a country which has two of the biggest rivers in the world, and one of the worst managed water companies.
Given that, plans have changed for today. I'm going to watch some 6 Nations rugby on TV instead!
