No - though I’ve used regular butter, added off the heat, and it does give it a whole new brown butter flavor that isn’t unpleasant at all.Have you tried using ghee?

Right now, I think I have a mix of some red kernels from that Amish place, and some Aldi yellow kernels, and probably some Orville Redenbacher as well.I've got that site bookmarked but as yet to purchase anything. What kernels are you using? I had no idea they had all those!

That Amish stuff is available all over here - farmers’ markets, dry goods/bulk stores, and even Kroger.
