A LISTERIA outbreak is causing concern as frozen sweetcorn has been blamed for nine deaths across Europe, including in the UK. Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Sainsbury's, Waitrose and Iceland have removed a number of products from the shelves. For a full list of products, see here.
I just came to post this. I heard the news in the car on the way home from the supermarket and did a mental check that I had not bought anything frozen. I do buy frozen peas and those bags of mixed rice and veg for emergencies, but I don't have any at the moment. I quite often don't take items from the shop freezer as it I can see there has been some re-freeze.
