Sometimes it's hard to know which topics are recipes, and which are looking for recipes....so I would like to suggest a recipe prefix/tag that can show up in the board index...

then the recipe topics are really highlighted....like this image I pulled off Google images:

You could make them gold and then normal topics would look like they do now, and topics that are sharing specific recipes can have the recipe tag.

I don't think it should be used for topics where people have posted recipes in response to a request though, just for the single recipe topics. It's obvious the help topics will hopefully have a spattering of suggestions after all ;).
 
I know I'm probably being dim, but how will posts of recipes appear tagged? Do we have to tag them ourselves or do we post them in this thread, or what? Really sorry if I'm being stupid and tedious but I need this spelling out for me! :confused:

When you create a new thread, you will get the option in the title to add the tag, Recipe to the title name. If your thread includes a recipe, then add the tag; if it does not, don't.
