I made this recipe many, many years ago. I was surprised to find it still online. I seem to remember it worked out well. Its very simple which is always a good thing.

Olive oil, onions, sugar, vinegar, spices, long slow careful cook. KKA's quite similar

The key to this chutney is caramelising the onions really. So that they go all jammy.
