Any good?
Where does the marmite go? 😅

Edited to add:
Wow, very confusing the way posts come up on threads - this must be from way back in the thread but looked like recent or new 🤔🤔
Sorry bout that.

If you hit reply to the post you want to comment on it will add it as a quote at the top of your post, so that we can see what you are commenting on.

Thanks, yes. I replied by hitting reply in the box beneath the post thinking it was the last/latest post on the thread when it wasn't. Some of the layout and forum ux-ui functions can be a bit confusing. There seems to be a reply box at the bottom of each page regardless of where in the thread you're reading. (a post preview function would be handy too 😎) Huge number of threads obviously, but can be confusing as/when mods chop and move described off topic thread content to spontaneously create new threads. Hard to find original threads etc. Guessing this post may end up like that! Just finding layout logic a bit illogical at times trying to figure the logic ... (sorry, visual developer in me coming out) 🤔😅😅

Your post above replied perfectly to my post. I have moved it here to site support as its a general query.

When posting any response to another member's post, just begin by hitting the 'reply to (name of member)' at bottom right of their post.

This applies to off topic posts which have moved to new threads too. You don't need to find the original thread in which they were posted.

The 'Post reply' at the bottom of each thread is simply a button you hit to post a reply. You need to hit that to post anything in the thread you are on.

If you mean being able to view your post before hitting 'Post reply', then you don't need to really. What you see before hitting 'Post reply' is what will appear in the thread.

You can save posts as drafts. Click on that old fashioned floppy disc icon (!) in the toolbar of your post. To find it, click the three dots to far right of the toolbar.

Sorry. I realise now by 'post preview' you probably mean this?

Post previews are condensed versions of social media content that provide a snapshot of the full post, typically including a title, an image or thumbnail, and a brief snippet of text, designed to entice users to click through and view the complete content.

We are limited by what is provided by xenforo, the platform we use, plus any free or purchased add ons. This is a question for site owner SatNavSaysStraightOn.
