Scrambled eggs still in the shell!

She’s used to it by now, I’ll wager.

Completely used to it. I don't even think of them as scrambled eggs. They are hard cooked scrambled eggs.

Here is a new idea (to me) - I may try this as it could be interesting to use the concept in other recipes...

I remember an infomercial from the ‘70’s/‘80’s (Ronco?) that sold a gadget that let you do this.

The base was a little electric motor with a very thin, flexible wire sticking out of the top, two or three inches long, I think.

The idea was, you’d make a little hole in one end of the egg, then set the egg on top of the wire, then turn it on.

The wire would spin at an incredible speed, thoroughly mixing the egg inside, then you could boil it as usual for a novel treat.

I tried this just now - eggs came out exactly as if I’d boiled them straight from the carton!

I need that electric egg scrambler!

I don't understand why its baked rather than boiled. Maybe because the pierced shell would leak egg... but it leaked anyway.

I don't understand why its baked rather than boiled. Maybe because the pierced shell would leak egg... but it leaked anyway.

Could be the little air coming through the small hole. Would boil them. But how do you season it inside?

I saw that egg slinger on a British YouTube show, and they tried it. It failed miserably for them.

See, to me, an egg slinger would look much like a slingshot but designed for eggs, not rocks, ya know?
