Cracker Barrel says MrsT’s breakfast came in at right at 1,000 calories, mine was 1,240 (blame the mimosa!).

Chicken and Wild Rice with Cremini mushrooms and vegetables (chunky mirepoix) ... went deep freeze diving ... defrost - reheat - devour!
Very soul-satisfying.

This morning was our monthly visit from The Ladies (our housekeepers).
That means, breakfast out!

DH requested a Denver Omelette, swiss cheese please with Rye-dry

I got their Quiche Lorraine.
We each got a glass of juice and a slice of Apple Pie to go (they're known for their pies).
MEH.
It's was okay, but we both said that there other joints around that are better for breakfast/brunch.

TastyReuben meh, they were cooked perfectly to my taste but a bit greasy ... didn't bring the leftovers home.

I simply didn't recognise what they were on the plate. I was looking at them and failing...

At regional chain Bob Evans this morning for my complimentary Veterans Day breakfast, enjoyed with one of my brothers, and a big thanks to him for agreeing to meet me.

Not pictured are coffee and sourdough toast.

Bob Evans is consistently one of the worst places I’ve ever eaten, but this breakfast was prepared perfectly, and the service was good as well.

I had an empanada, filled with white cheese and black beans ( "Dominó") and a glass of passionfruit juice.
Empanada - great. Hot sauce - dreadful!
