Possibly. Whenever I make pancakes, I just google it and click a recipe, since it’s just a handful of ingredients.
All I know is this recipe made a much thicker batter - it wasn’t pourable, I had to spoon it into the pan.

Buttermilk pancakes are definitely delicious!
My disabled son loves pancakes, and I used to make them the "classic"way, with just milk. Then someone passed me a recipe with buttermilk (absolutely yummy and fluffy) and again, another version with Greek yoghurt (equally yummy and fluffy!)
Sour cream works too!
