Pippi doesn't hoard anything. She's sure the fridge is the bottomless box of cheese slices and little sausages with occasional ham and hotdogs.

Here you can just see on the bottom of the door where she scratches to get something...

We have a black refrigerator and the sun shines through the sliding glass doors in the morning making it into a dark mirror. When Arwen was younger, she used to paw and bark at the pug in the refrigerator. Thank goodness that phase didn't last too long.

Yep, Kate was the same way. Even when the vet determined, late in life, that Kate was stone deaf…even when we could stand right behind her and shout her name with zero reaction…pop that cap off and squirt the nozzle, and she’d wake from a dead sleep under the bed in the back bedroom and come sauntering down the hallway, looking for a taste.
