Show us your pet (2025)

My Sweet Pea sits on the chair next to me and taps or pulls my arm till I give her something. She loves grated Italian cheese, green olives, and fresh herbs (especially basil).
 
DD's cat loved olives. She would make him a little plate of a couple of chopped up olives, sit him on a stool at our kitchen bar counter, tie a baby's bib around his neck, then let him have the plate. After he was done and she removed the bib, he'd flop around on the floor like he'd had catnip.
 
OMG, I just happened to have some olives with my brunch sandwich this morning. I put them on a folded paper towel to drain on my plate, then further folded the towel after I ate the olives and put it on the end table next to where I ate on the couch then forgot to pick it up. Our Mindy just graced us with her presence and apparently caught a whiff of the olive juice. Next thing I knew, she was up on the end table rubbing against the paper towel, then trying to take off with it. I had to go throw it in the garbage, but she's still looking for it and rubbing on the table where it was sitting.
 
Pippi has pretty much been in a meat coma since her cubed steak and beef jerky from yesterday and then Dippity Do Dah Dogs appointment this morning...

I’m very sorry about Rolo, Lulubelle. They really crawl into our hearts, don’t they? I know it doesn’t make it any better, but you gave him a gift, despite the heartbreak it’s caused you. That’s love. 🫂
