Show us your pet (2025)

I'm feeling sorry for my big boy Bibi.
We had a big thunderstorm coming over and he hates loud noises.
He was shaking and shivering.

Sherlock, on the other hand, just slept through it. He doesn't care at all
Sherlock is probably dreaming of wiping out nests of spitting vipers...

Anything to give Bibi to calm him?

I/we have many "pets" mostly feral cats that adopted us and we have grown very attached to so kept them as well as a very demanding damn Parrot and a little furry friend who no longer visits due to the cats:

We also have a couple of very friendly opossums who come and visit as well. It's funny watching them share a plate of food with the kids (cats).

Did you mention y

How many cats? And does parrot talk?

Well the cats are all outsiders but at last count we have around 15 regulars who stick around and are named and who do their very best to sneak inside. A few months ago we had something like 10 new born kittens but sadly the weather wasn't kind to most of them which make having them so hard.

We have a few "favorites" who have returned to civilization (domestic life) Lady, Oreo, Fuzz, Fluffy 1 and Fluffy 2 and Garfield. They are our permenant residents :)

I think the most that we have had take up residence was around 20 or so; however, being feral, most seem to wander off.

As for Ozzie, he isn't a talker - he does say one or two words, hello and pretty bird oh and shutup to my wife, no idea where he got that from :D But he normally chatters and sounds like a little old man. Ih he doesn't like someone or something though he will bark like a dog :)

Am I the only one who wants to coat themselves in catnip and roll around on the kittens, giggling like an 8-year-old girl?

and then eat pizza?

Whenever our oldest DGD would come to our house for an extended visit, Mindy would sit in the doorway of her bedroom and stare. DGD told me she'd wake up in the night and Mindy would still be there staring. At least she only did it for a few nights, then would decide DGD wasn't stranger danger.
