We try to discourage raccoons. They've too high a chance of having rabies around here.We have a racoon who regularly visits us - but never seen him/her drunk
Pretty much clear here too but if you see them acting out of character, diving your bins in daytime, that's a good signal.Yeah, rabies is always a concern. I never encountered it in Australia so it is pretty new to me, well for the past 10 or years anyway. So far I haven't come across any wildlife that has had it, so far as I know and the ones that visit for dinner have all been rabies free
