badjak has the Mozambique spitting cobra in her neck of the woods. Seriously toxic and can spit venom in your eyes from 10', while it's raising it's head off the ground to get a good angle on you.

Looked it up in Wikipedia (because Wikipedia knows everything ) and apparently it may feign death when attacked and in mortal danger which I didn't know. Only seen one once in the wild when I was a kid.
