Asian food is often well-seasoned, except for the outer portion of a pot sticker. My guess: the idea is to get a 'pop' of flavor after you bite into this food. What I learned in a cooking class is to coat the outside with sauce. Here's how:
- Heat a fry pan on high.
- Pour in 1/2 cup of dipping sauce.
- Bring dipping sauce to a boil.
- Throw in your pot stickers.
- Turn and cook pot stickers. (1 to 2 minutes)
- Take pot stickers out and lay to the side. (1 to 2 minutes)
