Why the skewers with shot glasses? I haven't a clue.
It's trendy to serve little mini-bites in shot glasses, and to have little garnishes with some shots. Google "shot glasses and skewers" and take a look at the images that pop up, and that's what you could do with them.

My new custom poker chip set uses a snifter glass on one side. I should say my new custom set that is in the process of being made.

I visited the Laphroaig distillery in 2001. We spent 3 days on Islay.
I don´t remember how many I´ve tried, but it´s got to be most of them.
I came away from the island with a Laphroiag, a Bowmore, a Bruichladdich and a Bunnahabhain.
I liked the Bruichladdich, but probably because it was the least peaty of the islays...
 
I much prefer a good, cask strength Ledaig than Laphroaig, although I tried a sample of a single cask Laphroaig last night and it was fantastic. 62.4% I think it was.
