Steak Seasoning on Fish

I made a huge blunder while cooking haddock the other night. I like my fish pan cooked with lemon and butter. I usually add just a tad of Mrs Dash, but mistakenly grabbed steak seasoning instead. The result was actually a delicious surprise. I did add more fresh lemon then usual because I was afraid the steak seasoning would be way to strong. the result was a bit garlicky, with a nice pepper taste. Very nice! has anyone ever grabbed the wrong spice and made a new taste season wise? Or did you ever grab the wrong thing from the cupboard and make a terrible mess of a dish?
