Not a football fan but my family like to watch football once a year and this would be the game. I didn’t know it’s coming Sunday the 8th until a clerk told me yesterday. Do you watch the Suoer Bowl, and if yes, what do you normally serve? I have a $10 coupon off meat from Sprouts so I’m going to use it to buy something I normally wouldn’t.

Nope, won’t be watching. Used to years ago, but not these days. I’ll occasionally check the score on my phone, though.

When we were watching, I’d always make Velveeta dip - Velveeta, can of ro-tel tomatoes, spicy sausage meat, made in the crockpot.

I think that finger foods are the usual thing for the super bowl? Its not a thing here in the UK but I have sen menus on TV cooking shows.

Here ars a few ideas for my fantasy super bowl menu:

Lobster and caviar blinis
Chicken wings with whisky glaze
MIni peppers stuffed with chilliand melted mozarella
Mini truffle roast potatoes with garlic cream cheese dip
Roasted carrot hummus with pitta
Babaganoush
Olive, tomato and feta kebabs
Spiced cauliflower florets with tzatziki dip
Scotch quail eggs

I think I will be making chicken wings, a potato dish, and have some chips with sour cream dip, just for fun. We may watch It in the beginning and it depends how bad the show is, I might stop early and go work in my garden.

I just found out from my daughter the names of the team, one of them the coach I had followed during my daughter’s college years, I don’t know if Pete Carroll is still the coach anymore but I knew he left USC for Seahawks. That’s the name I remember.

I'm not a sports fan, let alone a fan of the NFL. But... my wife invited a bunch of people over for a Superbowl party for the 3rd year in a row, so I'll be manning the smoker to make some combo of wings, ribs, pig shots, jalepeno poppers, buffalo chicken dip, and/or "armadillo eggs". I haven't given it much thought to even decide yet.
