I was just watching some reviews on America's Test Kitchen recently, and they rated this as the best coffee maker on the market:

$300 sounds rather steep for a coffee maker - I used to scoff at what I would pay for a Bunn coffee maker in the past. This thing however is supposed to be the Rolls Royce of coffee machines though. To me it more or less looks like a glorified Bunn machine. But according to reviews, it does keep the water at a very specific temperature during the whole brewing process, which supposedly makes the coffee taste much better.
Would you spend this much for a coffee maker?
