The beer glass that needs a mobile phone to keep it upright

In Brazil - like everywhere else - people in bars use there mobile phones. In an effort to get people talking to each other rather than connecting online, they've come out with a glass that will only stand upright if it's balanced on a mobile. The story's here.

I like their style - bars should be sociable places, not just somewhere you go to make use of the free WiFi. What would you do to get more people talking in bars?

I don't know if it got people talking, but a in pub I used to frequent, the landlord left his son and mate to run it on a Sunday night, and they sometimes played jokes. One night, every customer got their first pint served with a joke shop moustache stuck to the glass. Of course, everyone, male and female, immediately took it off the glass and wore it themselves. Walking in mid evening, it was hilarious!
