Lucky me today, my fiance, an executive chef at a local bar and grill, is giving me the night off of cooking. I usually have dinner done or at least just about done by the time he gets home from work but he is off today so he is taking over the kitchen for dinner. He is very fond of Mexican food and is making his infamous enchiladas. I actually get to relax after work today instead of heading straight for the kitchen. Please don't take me wrong because I absolutely love to cook, but everyone needs a night off sometimes, right? Silly thing though, even though I have the night off of cooking I am contemplating what I am going to make for Sunday dinner tomorrow. This passion I have for cooking and eating is powerful. Although there is a plethora of foods that can be thrown into the microwave for quick and easy meals, I would much rather work my magic in the kitchen as there is nothing like a home cooked meal served with lots of love.
