Certainly is.

Onions are used in almost all cuisines although there are parts of India where garlic and onions are forbidden. I suppose the challenge is to put onions more centre stage than they might often be. Although, of course any recipe containing onion is eligible.

And of course onions could be one of the main ingredients. Doesn't have to be onion 'something' - such as bahji, dip, bread, tart, soup, pickle, jam, it could be one of several main ingredients. For example: Recipe - Cauliflower with Mace & Onion Sauce.

And I should add, onion seeds are included: kalonji aka nigella are not actually onion seeds but I'll include them anyway.

I have at least 2 recipes picked out. A 3rd is one I've already written up here, but the first 2 are not, though I've cooked them quite a bit and photos are on CB. The bigger question is will I find any time because I'm solid packed with exams and assignments between now and the end of trimester...
