Is anyone else burning wood yet? I prefer warm weather, but comes fall, I do love having a fire in the house.

I don't think our lows have been below mid 70s yet. Supposed to be low 70s, maybe upper 60s toward end of next week.

2 weeks ago, we had minus figure overnight.
Last week we got 30°C more than once
This week, we're forecast minus figures yet again.

My poor plants are confused and we're left with the do I, don't I routine of lighting the woodburner (for those new here, it is our only heating, we live off grid barring electricity).

We’ve already had a couple of frosty mornings. I’m now anticipating every morning seeing that first bit of snow when open the curtains first thing…sounds odd, but it’s one of my favorite things every winter, waking up to that first snowfall. It’s still a ways off, but I’m ready!

I just noticed my typo.
Given the nature of this forum, maybe it was a Freudian Slip... but it could be because the K and L are next to each other, too

I had seen it, but decided not to make fun of it, onsidering the amount of fat finger mistakes in my text

I am not a typist.
But I'm not exactly a pecker anymore either... not regarding typing anyway

But what gets me, is that my typos usually spell another word. And the keys may not even be near each other.
